Saturday, 17 January 2009 DDM Partners with Constant Contact

On January 6th 2009, DDM joined The Constant Contact companys' flagship web-based email marketing manager. We selected Constant Contact after comparing other email management software. Based on CC's pricing, features, ease of use, support and our own past experience, it was a clear choice.

When making this choice, we had to consider our clients' ability to adapt and utilize CC's features and platform. Many individuals and business owners still spend hours a month managing their lists themselves. This may have worked "OK" in the past...but email marketing has really changed over the years with new guidelines and "acceptable" protocols being added continually. Some U.S. states have their own laws regarding "acceptable" emailing behavior.

We feel very confident that our partnership with Constant Contact will enable us to bring the "power" and "security" of email marketing to our clients. We feel safe in recommending this program and urge everyone to seriously consider a professional email manager such as Constant Contact. As emailing standards become more regulated, it is a good idea to start playing it safe now instead of getting caught with your email down.

We will be posting a list of features for Constant Contact in the near future. In the meantime, we urge you to consider "Safe-Mode"-ing your email efforts... all it takes is one disgruntled recipient and you can get shut down by your ISP.

  • The only way to survive the coming depression is to own your own successful business. Warren Buffet is saying this downturn could last for 8 years. Gerald Celente\'s predictions will make you freeze in your tracks if you are not self employed by the end of 2009.

  • Along with headlines, product images on an e-commerce site capture the visitor\'s attention. Eisenberg gives examples of excellent use of photos from Harry and David and Tiger Direct. He recommends Camtasia for software product demos, careful attention a model\'s eyes in photos for services. All images should reinforce your primary message. Finally, test to see what your customers prefer.
